Big Party at the Vancouver Seed Bank Saturday 30, 2009

I will be at the VSB after noon until about the supper hour.

I will be witnessing membership sign-in ceremonies for the Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society and answering questions informally.

Smoking a copious amount of Cannabis and enjoying the company of fellow tokers and anniversary partiers.

I have heard rumors that this will be the best one yet. The atmosphere is nice in the backyard smoke emporium.

The Party was good!

Incident involving Stockwell Day at VPD headquarters on Cambie Street (Utube Video)

It was fun, you can hear me chuckling.

I wonder what kind of trained security officers they will send to finally put a stop to us. In the other thread on CC John Weston claims he has heard the cops talking, reinforcing his government's get tough C-15 Bill.

So it is the supervisors of these illiterate, conflict escalating goons, who have failed to train their charges properly enough to keep them from being an illegal threat to people, whose words he chooses to listen to?

John Weston, Stephen Harper, you are masters of the Goons in the opinion of Bud the Oracle. When your agents are trained well enough to know the laws they serve, then you might be advised to take their advice, albeit with a shaker of salt and your usual bottle of Tequila.

You have to use theater with a touch of humor to confuse these violent, armed aggressors, imo. Remember, they shot down Paul Boyd with his hands up in the middle of Granville Street.

He did injure a cop with his bicycle lock. I wonder what kind of escalation preceded that? Was he peacefully unlocking his bicycle and failed to knuckle under to the arbitrary commands of these goons? Did one one of them start the incident by trying to use unwarranted force on him?

Then 3 days later chief Jim Chu comes on the radio and tells us how brave and honorable those officers were, thereby flagrantly breaking the police act.

I heard him and charged him with OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE under the police act

IT PAYS TO KNOW THE LAWS BECAUSE YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE MORE POWER THEN THIS MAN IN THE VIDEO, OR EVEN THE CHIEF OF THE VPD

I would call this the theater of the absurd

Just as absurd as the City of Vancouver Police board having to send someone to my place and deem me incompetent to lay those charges at the OPCC.

They love the theater too. But they like the criminal. corruption, backstabbing, power grabbing kind of plays.

One more thing for the record I was holding at least 4 grams of Hemp Star. I smoked two joints in plain view of the Provincial Court building while Robin dropped the Writ there.

I am a freeman.

Another view from the Oracle on religion, form, Jesus Christ and spirituality.

Although my belief systems are heavily influenced by Catholicism, Full Gospel Evangelism, I still don't believe in hardly anything. I can't see how he bible could not be heavily edited by man, god be so confined to one language, demand the ability to read, be so exclusive as contain all wisdom in this very short book.

I understand that for myself if I ask the important questions ponder upon all that strikes me as being spiritual, all that is not, enlightenment is not a blinding surge but a glimpse here a glimmer there.

Like the law I believe that god's voice must be heard, as from the mouth of an Ass. This only happens if you sincerely seek it, continuously, in everything. Maybe for some the voice of God will say that only chance determines everything. Perhaps this is the grand vision that GOD HAS GIVEN THEM PERSONALLY. Who are we to demand conformity to our view, or that anyone require a belief in god to be a member of anything?

To me God is a personal definition which changes as my knowledge grows and my perceptions vary. I hear a voice of guidance not so much as a audible voice, but as a happy light note within, a happy heart. Some would say that's probably the marijuana plant doing its thing. They could be right.

So what!

No one is forced to believe in any religion to belong to Canada. The same goes for the Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society. I accept the form the same as the queen does in accepting the bible upon taking the throne. It is the only foundation of the law as we know it, so why not start at the same place?

The Queen's belief and form of belief in god will remain between her and her concept of god, as will mine, but the foundation is the Bible, traditionally. It is an early study of human nature and society, very valid today for its insights into the heart of men and women. She would have done well to study it.

Never limit yourself to one method of reaching out for the answers to the big questions. It is apparent to me that god did not want us to be closed minded and judgmental of others, rather to be forgiving. These concepts do not emerge in most practiced Christianity. Therefore I put no value in their claimed belief system being the one and only true way.

I do know that something deeper than my understanding occasionally reveals small mysteries to me and assures me of its presence. It's as solid as the air was under my wing when I flew hang gliders. I don't believe it is important to put it into any certain cubby hole for myself. Rather, everyone who sincerely seeks God should be able to easily find the truth via any method they are drawn to take.

The true beauty of that theory, in my opinion, is that god will become a many splendored thing which widely unites, is inclusive, rather than contentious and divisive. I think that God would rather have it so than some corruptible men screaming “my way or the highway.”

Many people have truly found God in a spiritual sense believing in prescribed manner, but others have found enlightenment elsewhere. We must respect the diversity created by god, and the myriad of personal revelations god is likely capable of, if he is God.
The quest and staying in the right lane, driving with care will allow you to ejoy the journey. What other people do should not be your concern. Neither should vengeance as everyone is given their measure of blessings or tribulations according to their needs.

Walk your own path and don't become vigilantes demanding executions and terrible punishments nd pine for “justice.” No one can escape justice. You will only deny yourself happiness.

I don't believe in anything that I don't know is absolutely true. I entertain everything as being possible unless I absolutely know that it is not. Don't paint me with your perceptions, follow your own spiritual paths

Activism / Smactivism, who needs it?

We do, don't we? To keep our democracy from rusting, we need to keep exercising it? Use it or loose it.

The people in this forum were not kind to myself or Robin. Mostly they expressed their doubts and used personal insults based solely on their opinions.

I believe that what I said about the former “Giants” of the marijuana activism movement are the facts. These people have lost sight of their goals, have sold out for desirable plum of corporate monopoly.

The opposition has deduced, by seeing the election results of these self absorbed people, that the Marijuana “movement” doesn't exist and therefor they could introduce legislation like bill C_15 with impunity. I once had an idea of changing the paradigm from suicide terrorism to demonstration tourism. Unique ideas are non conformist by their nature and can be a hard sell.

These Freeman and Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society ideas belong to others, but they fit me well. I have always thought that the future lies in changing thought, much as is the role of mutations in our genome responsible for the wondrous Monster. Nothing healthy in nature remains stagnant.

I believe that we are on the side of Justice, good and freedom and that we can not loose this battle because of who stands with us, just and reasonable harmless men and women, and the foundation we have in Jesus Christ as is the foundation of all English law.. Rule of God's law trumps tyranny anytime.

How dare any government in today's times deny harmless, reasonable men to choose their state of mind or how they access it, all the while destroy peace through violent crime and lawlessness as a side effect in society at large?

YOU continue to give them the authority to continue down this road of oppression by not rising up against this injustice. We have done so in an acceptable and peaceful way and we will not be denied our peaceful existence and persecuted for a harmless choice we commit upon ourselves . If people can drive cars for their personal pleasure and destroy our environment without serious restrictions, how dare anyone make me a criminal for smoking a reefer.

As I gave these government clowns a visual parody of how stupid their marijuana laws are by wearing my Cannabis Helm to the Parliament of Canada, I held the floor in A CREATIVE ARTIST'S VERSION OF SHOCK AND AWE. The floor's visual attention was held by me from the moment I stepped off the elevator to the moment I got back on, 3 hours later. Everyone else got the alloted 10 minutes we did have to speak.

It seems a shame that the current activist giants would denigrate me so vehemently for a bold statement such as this. As I mention in the thread the MPs got it squarely, even though cannabis activists didn't. I held the Arbutus room visually, and no one had the guts to look me in the eye. I did actually call the Canadian government and these representatives organized criminals. They understood that I was speaking the truth and felt guilty. I judged them and they accepted it, without an objection.. Because they know that they are guilty.

Introspection on power, humanity and societies.

The glory of living a spontaneous lifestyle, led by a quest for understanding, creative spirituality, and general enlightenment is the mystery of it. It has taken me decades to realize that the only thing I can control on occasion is my reaction to events. Thankfully there is no plan that I have made that would interfere with what jewels are given in the moment.

I understand human frailties and the lure of power in a small way and feel corruption beckoning slightly, already. Although my role as Chief Justice of our society is largely ceremonial, I found myself starting to feel entitled to certain benefits .....because.

Rather than be ashamed for it, I choose to examine it and gain an insight and realize that this is probably a common human condition and the foundation for most corruption throughout history.

I see this as a beneficial learning process while we set up the Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society (UDS).

The same conflicts which plague all human societies are found in my own small world and our new society. On reading Deuteronomy into the record for our first parliament, the conflict between spiritual belief, religious indoctrination and the law began to come to the fore again, this time framed in a different perspective: the laws of societies.

I believe that the only societies which will benefit humanity are the ones based on tolerance balanced with tradition. Some closed societies may seem more successful in limited aspects, but these distortions tend to collapse after time, due to the imbalances created by them.

What strikes me as telling is the turn out for this Provincial election. This government doesn't have a mandate from more than 25% of the electorate, yet I heard the drunk driver himself say that the majority of British Columbians have chosen him this morning. That's why I call humans the Fraudulent Apes: first we lie to ourselves and then to the world.

As chief justice I try to envision snares as we set out to do right by our membership. People are so diverse and immediately, by definition, nuance any activity they join. Therein lies the richest of stews with a troubling aftertaste at times. Perhaps, more so then any definitive vector that we wish to diverge unto, just the basic exercise of creating change reveals better directions. Stagnancy is not the answer, but tends to entrench conformity, corruption and tyranny as skilled, controlling, unethical people gain understanding in the social machine and begin to work it to their ends.

It is the revolutionaries which move us forward over time. We must learn to accept change graciously and recognized it as the tool of revival so vital to any species' future which it is. Political thought from balancing viewpoints should be the norm. To focus on only economics as the driving factor for our society is to condemn ourselves forever to unhappiness, dissatisfacton. My goal is to be happy, to live in a happy safe society, be free to create, to do the things I choose to do, primarily, no matter what economic climate prevails.

the Canadian focus on consumerism as the only primary/worthwhile driving force for our society will likely be the end of us, imo. Our global spiritual depravity is very evident in the world around us. Don't get this confused with religion or belief systems, though, spirituality in my estimation is a personal thing to be defined individually, through curiosity. All you need to do on a daily basis is seek the truth in every encounter and the rest will flow according to your measure. A happy life is truly a simple thing totally independent of economic considerations.

A society that is primarily happy will be optimistic and likely to have a flourishing economy. A society where half the people don't turn out for elections, a society which is fueled by drug money/fast money is not happy, rather violent and cruel. Who else would be to blame for this mess but our current leadership and their mentors. Fear of change is a great thing if you are a corrupt cadre and wish to entrench your power.

Oh well, have it your way! We are trying to do something different and hopefully better.

Join us: contact the registrar or me, Bud the Oracle, by email for a membership form or stop either of us on the street to sign up instantly.

A trip to the House Justice Committee is our registrar's personal thread on Cannabis Culture explaining some of our Society's complications. In it you can read more of our personal thoughts and some countering perspectives.

Chris Bennet, the Pot activism Giant, had his way with me in these forums which are wholly and solely owned by the Marc Emery Foundation. It would be a tribute to Marc's nod to free speech if they are allowed to stand. Something about star reduction was troubling to me. I mean, it is so petty, isn't it? Oh well, when I was in school, although I often tried to get a star, I didn't always. And yes, sometimes the teacher revised her early opinion of me and lowered my ears a bit. So this is nothing new to me, Jodie.

Don't you think others may see that your forum is rigged, slanted with a commercial flavor? Do you see a single ad here? Can you point to a fee required for anything. How about a plea for a donation to the cause? Glad I didn't to the BC3, because now where would my money be?

Ultimatum to the government of Canada to control and regulate Cannabis

To my knowledge the recording of meeting number 17 is still not archived for public perusal. This is the only such occurrence of all meetings held. Click the title for the audio of the original submission which we had to shorten and edit slightly.

The registrar and I gave clear notice to the government of Canada to repeal the CDSA and control and regulate or the Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society will. this we intend to do formally

The Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society informs Canada

On April 30th 2009 by the efforts of the society's esteemed Registrar, Robin Wroe, the Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society was invited to be a witness in the Arbutus room of the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver, before the House of Commons Justice Committee: crime and human rights. It was meeting number 17 and is recorded on the Parliamentary record in both official languages simultaneously translated.

In my opinion this was a political dog and pony show. Some MPs spoke to American interests as being an excuse to burden Canadians with lawlessness over a harmless plant. Some MPs didn't know that marijuana is ranked by informed medical practitioners as being as dangerous as coffee. These people need to read some science, open their myopic, politically clouded, self serving eyes.

The entire text of what was read by the Registrar and the Chief justice will be up on the Government record and hopefully the registrar will post it on the website as well when he gets a chance. Here is the summary read be me:

"Peace to this Hotel and to the House of Commons Justice and Human Rights Committee. In summary, our Society's judgment is that prohibition and your controlled drugs and substances act are failed policy that tresspas upon the peaceful possessory right that ought be enjoyed by everyone. Your society's policy does not respect this right; you violently oppress otherwise law abiding members of your own society. Your corporation's own policy is the organized crime, and in respect of drugs your government's own policy is what enables the black market to flourish. Absent your corporate policy regulated companies would supply drugs on a demand-oriented basis similar to any other product. Your policy has alienated and will continue to alienate men and women from your society and its government."

They asked no questions and I got the impression they were trying to duck any engagement with the Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society. Robin said it best “We hope to keep harm from befalling harmless people for performing a harmless act” and “Since membership in the Canadian society is not compulsory, we may choose for the safety of our members from the harm of the Criminal Justice system, to regulate and control of the distribution of these harmless substances which were not banned by god in the Bible. This we must do to reduce the dangers surrounding the non control now practice by Canada.”

since there were no Questions I deduce that the members of Parliament who are Lawyers mostly understood us. Also, there were no objections as to our intentions. Therefore, I am of the opinion in my professional capacity as Chief Justice, that we will draft a notice of our intentions to provide these substances safely to our members. This we do out of compassion for our members so that they need not be harmed by either the criminal elements or the Justice system of Canada for a harmless act done to oneself in peace.

As Chief Justice I suggest a time limit of 60 to 100 days for the Government of Canada to act to changes its laws for the safety of all humans and persons. I am currently suggesting that people join our society for these god given rights and protection.
